Wish Upon A Star
[Chicago, Illinois] September 19, 2000 NetGain Motors' electric powered dragster "Bad Amplitude" was invited to participate on Saturday, September 16th in the "Sheriff's Challenge 2000" hosted by the Will County Sheriff's Office at
Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois. This is an annual charity event held to benefit the "Wish Upon A Star Foundation."
The "Wish Upon A Star Foundation" is a children's charity dedicated to aid sick and injured children.
"Bad Amplitude" has been on tour doing exhibitions with the NHRA's Division 3 Federal Mogal Series Races and other events this season, but took time out to help with this charity event.
Some of the other notable attendees were John Lawson, Steve Spies, Drastic Plastic and the Jewel-Osco Big Cart.
NetGain Motors "Bad Amplitude" will next appear at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois at the final Division 3 Federal Mogal Series race held September 22 - 24.
