Electric Car Leads Parade of Vehicles at Prestone Route 66 Nationals in Chicago
[Chicago, Illinois] June 6, 2000 NetGain Motors' battery powered electric drag rail "Bad Amplitude" was chosen by NHRA's Dana Servaes to be the first vehicle showcased in the Parade of Vehicles on the day of the finals at the Prestone Route
66 Nationals in Chicago. "This car is so unique that I want it out first so it isn't lost in the crowd," Servaes said.
"Bad Amplitude" debuted at Chicago's Route 66 Raceway in June of 1999. This year the car will be doing exhibition runs at the North Central Division's Federal Mogal Series races and at numerous other races, car shows, parades and school events
around the Midwest.
