• The Inverter's Firmware provides an interface between its hardware and software components
• Matching Firmware and Clone files must be installed on every inverter via the corresponding SmartView software.
• All SmartView, Firmware, and Clone versions must be of the same Identifier (i.e. 2BD, SYS, or GSL).

SYSys

(Obsolete)

• 2015-2018 Firmware for SmartView SYSys DLR and HyPer Serialized Clones.
• Inverters originally programmed with this Firmware can be updated to "2BD" firmware & Clone via SmartView 2BD.

Generic Slave

(Current GSL)

• Latest Firmware version for SmartView GSL OEM and GSL Clones.
• Use GSL files when the inverter is controlled by a 3rd party VCU.
• Contact NetGain or Dealer for additional GSL software.
